I have all my prospective clients go through the SacredSync process.
It doesn’t matter if they are just starting out or if they are a seasoned transformational entrepreneur.
I have this as a requirement because in order to align your energy and be authentic in all aspects of your spiritual transformation business, you must first identify your soul traits and learn how you are designed to be more in the flow with your business, branding and marketing. Plus you need a strategy to get aligned and start attracting your soul clients.
You might think that sounds all good for a newbie, but a seasoned woo-woo entrepreneur knows this stuff, right?
You’d be surprised how many don’t. Yes! Even in the creative, spiritual and transformational fields.
I find that most woo-woo entrepreneurs are multi-tasking, credential-earning and always-learning fanatics. You guys devour and absorb any new technique and love adding them to your spiritual toolbox. Don’t get me wrong, I throw myself right in there with ya! I love learning and always have a new tip or trick up my sleeve.
There’s nothing wrong with furthering your education and personal growth, nor adding a new tool to your mix of services, but where this starts to become an issue is when it’s interfering with landing your soul clients.
You have at least 15 seconds to snag a visitor’s attention on your website – some say less than 2 seconds these days (YIKES!). That’s all the time you have to hold their interest long enough for them to decide if they want to get to know you better or work with you.
One of the biggest challenges I see with both seasoned and startup spiritual businesses is that you offer too much. If visitors are having to scroll through a boatload of services to figure out what you really are good at, they’ll leave pretty quickly.
Another challenge I’ve seen is that most woo-woo entrepreneurs don’t know how to keep it simple. If a visitor finds the site is too confusing to navigate, they are off there before you can say NAMASTE!
Yet another roadblock is saying the same thing and sounding like everyone else out there. If a prospective client finds that the site is convoluted with a bunch of woo-woo, feel good nonsense they’ve seen too many times to count, they are going to leave before they even get to the good stuff – who you are, what you do and how you can help them.
I can go on and on about the reasons why your prospective clients are high-tailing it off your site, but that’s not what this article is about.
